I wanted to thank you for being such a patient, attentive, candid and open facilitator.  We are a lively and diverse group and your demeanor was a perfect fit for our goals and discussions.  The safe environment that you provided enabled us to communicate openly and clearly and to positively respond to our own developmental initiatives.  You essentially helped to glue this team and called to our attention how we are each empowered to grow and work as a united team which brings increased efficiency and value to Lincoln.

New Managers Development

Workers are promoted because of their skills, but do they have the management people skills to be successful at developing others, delegating, managing projects?  This 4 day workshop combines the Big Five, team building and coaching to provide your managers with the tools to be successful.

Team Building Sessions

Energize your meetings with a kickoff team building session.  Build high performance teams for project success with a full day of team interaction and team allignment.  Many teams lack the ability to function at high performance levels.  Not because they don't understand teamwork, but because they don't have a model for emloying teamwork in their organization.

We come to you with portable activities designed to meet your goals and desired outcomes.

Tough Conversations

Do you find it challenging to have those tough talks with your employees?  This workshop pulls from popular reading on holding those conversations, providing feedback and resolving conflict.  Combining this workshop with the Big Five provides you with greater insight into how your behaviors are affected by your personality.  Strategies are developed accessing your strengths to help you develop the skills for providing feedback, dealing with conflict and working with tough situations.

Work/Life Balance Series

These one day workshops are designed to sequence in order to build on the learning.  Attendees will gain insights and tools to put to use that will help them create more balance and focus on life values.  The result of this will be to not only improve personal lives but improve work life through reduced absenteeism, higher levels of productivity and less stress related illness.  Partnering with Rebecca Nagy, Meditation Instructor and Motivational Speaker, we can offer this series to you.

The Big Five: understanding our personalities can offer to us greater insight as to why we respond the way we do to many things.  It can also offer opportunities for tapping into our strengths and supporting our liabilities.  There are physiological triggers to each of the Big Five traits and gaining knowledge as to why a more extroverted person needs constant social interaction can help a more introverted person create strategies for flexing to that, for example.  The Big Five offers a depth of insight into our personalities that no other tool offers and it is specifically designed for workplace use.

Participants will take the short form questionnaire online and reports will be distributed at the workshop.  By understanding their personalities the participants will be able to develop tools for coping with behaviors that are inherent to their personality and how work affects them.  The session will be interactive and participants will leave with some strategies for utilizing the information to help create work/life balance.

Coaching Basics:  participants will learn basic coaching skills that can be utilized with colleagues, staff and family.  Results from “laser coaching” offer improved focus, goal accomplishment, forward movement and less procrastination.  Engaging in short coaching sessions focused on a specific goal or objective results in the coachee moving from inaction to action.

This session will be interactive with role playing and participants bringing real life goals to the session.  Big Five results will be integrated to aid participants in understanding how their personality affects goal accomplishment.

Meditation for Health and Focus: participants will learn basic techniques of focused concentration and meditation for being able to reduce emotional and physiological responses to everyday stressors within a matter of moments, accessing a deep level of calm, peace and focus. We will cover and practice in successive workshops (two 2 hour sessions): deep breathing techniques, progressive relaxation, creative visualization and the "Instant Calm™” technique developed by Rebecca Nagy. Upon completion of this program, with consistent practice, the participants will be able to enhance their ability to relax in stressful situations - “in an instant”.
